IIRC, women have 80% more scent producing glands than men.

Having said that, I think trying to generalize one gender as being more "smelly" than the other is a little silly. Body odor (or lack thereof) is affected by diet, level of hydration, age, and level of hygiene. All of these can vary a lot.

Most females that I'm around smell fine, if anything they smell horrible when they over do the body spray or perfume. I think I may know what the OP is referring to though, when a girl is without "cover-up" scents and hasn't showered in a day or two, there is a curious funk that I find even more nose-curling than being around a overheated hairy fat guy with butter sweating out of his pores.
Women view personal hygiene with more respect than most men though, so thankfully it's a rare occurrence.

I recall sometime ago on a road trip my wife was reading some women's mag (a Cosmo clone of some kind) and there was a survey among readers about which daily toiletry they couldn't do without. She asked me what I thought it was, and I guessed tampons with makeup and shampoo being my close second guesses. The 'winning' answer was deodorant, by an overwhelming margin. Take that for what it's worth.

On a related note, my wife actually loves grabbing onto me and smelling my neck and chest when I'm all sweaty. Had a girlfriend in college who was the same way. In contrast, she deems her sweat to be something akin to toxic waste that she won't let get within 10ft of me.

And they leave big wet disgusting stains on your mattress after you have had sex with them.

lol

Hey, those are badges of honor! You should be happy that a chick is willing to grace you (and your bed) with her girl juice.

If her cup really erm, "runneth over" then I suggest these great things called towels! Douglas Adams had it right. ;)

not really... i just think if a woman showers normally even when she has her period you aren't going to smell anything but flowers.

So, why can't i smell women who are menstruating when estrogen affords me a greater sense of smell than you to begin with?

I might be wrong here, but I believe the human brain registers all kinds of pheromones but to the nose they are devoid of scent.

Since I was in my early teens I could smell women who were riding the crimson wave. Not all of them, not every time, but over the years I've noticed a tendency for some women to smell like what to me appears to be a musty combination of copper and cinnamon. Now I haven't gone up to said women and flat out asked "hey you on the rag right now? just curious!" but my skeptical wife has tested this on me when we've been out with a group of her friends before, according to her my accuracy is pretty good. Strangely enough, the female being a smoker seems to confound my nose.

Yes someone backing me up lol. I wouldn't call it cinnamon... but without the sweetness I guess. Musky sounds about right...

I remember noticing that smell this one time in HS with one of my lab partners. I remember thinking to myself she's in a pretty good mood considering what's happening right now lol.

she's in a pretty good mood considering she has her period? the mood thing is called PMS, that happens pre-menstrual.

can you tell if a female has her period over the internets too? :p

Ordinarily in class no one sits next to me and if they do they're usually male, but aside from the rare disgusting fat male pig I never notice their scent. Recently by some odd fortune I've found women sitting next to me, and half the time I get an uncontrollable feeling of BLECH. And I don't think it's perfume. I know some women use really obnoxious perfume (a couple years ago it seemed like half of them smelled like Fruity Pebbles o_O ) but this is just terrible. It's not quite B.O. or fecal smelling, but it's in the rough ballpark. Is this some hormonal thing?

You are now a legend congrats lol . I got a feeling there be some young teens in this topic . slaps head.

Seems they use more perfume than men because I can smell the perfume and it's strong as if they were dipped in petrochemical.

I would drink my coffee out of it.

This was well-fit last reply, as I noticed two more scented women, one who smelled very strongly of coffee (and she was not carrying one). I don't think it was her vagina that emitted the smell, however.

The other had a pleasant perfume-y scent.
