At my work I've had several women bosses, including my current one. Our center director is a woman. The women there make the same as their male counterparts as well.


All have been very capable and good bosses.

The female scientists I have worked with don't pull the gender card and they achieve position and respect (privilege) on merit. One might say they had to work a harder and be more dilgent than theirmale comparts. However, what I have observed was that those clerical people and female support staff are prone to expect privilege because they were born with a vagina and they often use that gender card to excuse their own incompetence. Competent people don't use or expect privilege, they earn it - people who feel inadequate tend to use any crutch they can and gender is an easy crutch. I suppose there maybe those "far more privileged than men" out there but I suspect they have come from the "Hearts and Flowers" side of the campus. I never have met a woman engineer, mathematician, or scientist who sought privilege they didn’t deserve. My colleague for the last 15 years is a mathematician (PhD from Purdue) and she and her husband (another math PhD) found time to raise two children, their son a PhD Computer Scientist from Cal Berkeley and their daughter a medical doctor raising two children with her husband will working a full time job. Seems like today there are those that can and those that put the blame on anything other than themselves to give reason to the fact that they can’t. Ada Lovelace and Admiral Grace didn’t let their femininity get in their way, then again they were not feminists.

I don't hate all women, just the ones that cry sexism while ignoring the disadvantages men have. I'm a stronger support of Men's Rights Activism. 10 years ago, if a man saw an attractive women he'd say "Man, I'd like to bang her!" now they say "Man, I'd like to be her slave!". Sickening.
