Do wine coolers get you tipsy?

I just had one. I feel funny. 😉

sugar + carbonation + liquor can really go to my head quickly, especially if I'm on an empty stomach, but I don't think I've actually had a wine cooler since turning 21.

(under 21, obv, we drank whatever we could steal from our parents without them noticing)

You should try them. I like to take a shot of rum and mix the rum/wine cooler together. It taste juicy.

All I need are some womenz!

those drinks almost immediately give me heartburn (hardly anything else does though). So, no, because I wouldn't be able to drink enough to get tipsy.

Never tried them. I do get tipsy after several tall glasses of wine though. 3-4 is where I start to feel it. Half the bottle is when I REALLY feel it.

Best sleep medication EVER though. Feel like a million bucks the next morning.

I can drink one sweet drink, but no more than that usually. I was at a festival once and was thirsty as hell, and I was beered out. I didn't want Coke, so I got a couple hard lemonades. I pounded those, and got a quick buzz. They tasted good, but I'd have rather just had water. If I want a buzz, I'd rather have whisky.

That is why you put a shoot of liquor in with the wine cooler.

To give it that kick! 😛

I can honestly say I've never had a cooler of any sort. Then again I'm neither a college sorority girl or a flamboyantly gay gentleman.

They were an interesting novelty when they first became a "thing". They're also better when home made. Pour a bunch of cheap wine into a tub with lots of fruit, and a bit of juice, and it makes a good summer party drink. You can grab a cup of wine, and snack on the fruit. Tastes good on a hot day.
