I don't reallly have a problem with it, but I just know that if the White Entertainment Channel were to be created, that thing wouldn't last 5 minutes before it got shot down for being racially motivated

My talking of the guy was basically to show that I'm not completely blind and a complete "racist" as some would call me. I know there are PLENTY of blacks out there like Keyon, and that's great. I just severely detest the whole BET/blacks-only/racist bullsh|t that goes on. I, myself, am too afraid of the "political" consequences of telling them that they're full of sh|t, but I don't hesitate when I find a white person who does the same thing. They get both barrels. But, because the blacks have WAY more pull, simply because they're black, I'm not about to lose my job because I spout off to management that they're racially prejudice

I'm with you on this one. I personally don't have a problem at all with BET but if white people ever started WET it would have Jesse Jackson and everyone else all worked up over it. And don't tell me that "all other networks are basically white entertainment television" the point is that the name doesn't say so and they don't blatently state it. Same thing with All black colleges and black history month. IF you ask me that stuff adds fuel to racism and attempts to keep a sort of seperation, although races should be proud of their background so it's a tough middle ground to find.

The very reason that I labeled BET racist is the white counterpart, if it were ever created, would be called racist. And I'm all for equal rights. I don't have a problem with the actual shows that are shown (well, that's another story). I have a problem with the IDEA of a blacks-only network.

And its not like they dont have white people on the station. Its just more oriented towards the black comunity.
Maybe a white tv station wouldnt last that long because there is um lemme think 300 STATIONS ALREADY LIKE THAT!
There is the WB (which I agree with dave chappelle that that is some racist sh!t) and BET.
I also dont understand when some of the black culture is shown on the more "white" channels people make fun of the languistics when it is pretty much a cultural thing. But when asian people say stuff wrong people dont give them nearly as much sh!t for it.
