Do we need a D2OL logo?

I've noticed that the link to the logo I placed on the Team AnandTech page at Sengent appears to be broken.

With all the new interest in D2OL at TA, is it time to get a new logo specifically for D2OL?

Anyone interested in creating one and/or hosting the image? All I need to do is change where the link should point to.

That would be sweet! Once its made maybe we could get some case stickers made with the Logo for our TeAm mates..

Thats a great idea! I can give it a try but if someone out there is an actual artist they should do it instead of me.

Sengent's site says the following about the logo:

Maximum suggested image pixel size: 200w x 100h (.gif/.jpg formats only)

I propose a contest for anyone wanting to submit a logo. Logos should be submitted by October 4th with a limit of 3 submissions per person. Team AnandTech members would then vote on these forums to chose a winner which will be used.

How's that sound?

We would need someone who is able to host the images to be voted on.

Whatever the design it must incorporate TeAm AnandTech.. we must never forget that we are part of a greater overall TeAm.. all who are members of this site are a part of our TeAm in one way or another.

I saw "we need a logo" and spent all of 5 minutes on it .

Isn't there already a TeamAnandTech logo? If so why not modify it to incorperate D2OL. And maby it could be almost a standard for all the projects?

I think tbates will be hosting the images and labeling them to be voted on a day or two after the submission deadline. I'll setup a vote here sometime around Nov. 5th. (Hey that's election day isn't it?)
