I think I play Starcraft way too much.. that's one game that is addicting. The only problem is that I need to find a reliable ISP since I get disconnected. Anyone use any of the free ISP's w/o banners that work well??

hell yeah. SC/BW are games that are still alive and kicking dude. Multiplayer at it's best. u can play it on a p200 w/ 32mb ram and a 8mb vid card. the ultimte game for all people. 56k is more than enough to play a normal 3 on 3 match.

Used to play, Used to be really good too, then like a few months back I played a 4 player FFA Ladder game... whooped hte other 3's butts... then barely got any points, rating ended up being 1090 or something... then saw how competitive the ladder was... then... left the game to my cousin, who still plays it nowadays I think.

Thief rules total ass, one of the best game series made.

But SC is cool too, and another genre of course, so you can't compare...SC has a cool and simple interface and sweet atmosphere.....not a big strategy game fan anymore, but it's a great game. Always played Protoss myself.

Yup... but when i left for college, i left the cd home, and uninstalled it from my machine. Otherwise, I'd be dropping out of school . Been away from games almost two years now. I'd be deep into Diablo 2 if it wasn't for my comp crashing on me...

Starcraft is the most addicting game I ever played...despite it being 3 years old, I still play with my friends over Battle.net....

It's only addicting because of internet play. Without internet play, I think the game would game old pretty fast.

I played a little, but out of fear of getting addicted, I quit.

Welp, I've had it all of three days and am almost finished with the Terran series. :Q Is that good?

I've always been a FPS player, myself, but this game is somewhat -okay extremely addicting. I have RedAlert, ArmyMen, and some other similar, cheap games, but nothing seems to be able to stand up to it.

I have CounterStrike, but I prefer TFC to it. I hate starting the game over again. I'd rather just play with no interuptions -unless, of course, I get killed. The only reason I play CS more than TFC is that there are tons more CS players than there are TFC players.

It's the ame that will never die, it was just too good... Great for lan parties because you can take all your old systems and use them as starcraft boxes. You take all your leftover parts and throw them in a case and it will run starcraft easy.

Amen to that! I just started playing September of last year. I've accumulated over 1,500 battle.net games since then.

what is your win/loose ratio?

as far as I know, the average people on real bnet arent that good, unless you play with the top players, you dont loose easily. However, if you go to FSGS servers, those people tends to be damn good there.

I dont go to bnet anymore but some FSGS servers. my Win/loose about 2/1
