Do we have a consensus on the MSI Turbo 133a board?

My fave BX and KT133 boards are both from MSI, so I'm looking toward grabbing MSI's KT133a board, the Turbo.

I've seen tons of posts in various threads, but do we have a consensus yet?

From what I can tell, you flash your BIOS using the newest overclockers' BIOS with your CPU at the lowest multiplier possible, and you'll be good to go for o/c'ing.

Am I on track?

Well, there are still a lot of problems with overclocking this board.

As long as you stay at a 100Mhz FSB there are no problems. My 1Ghz TB cpu does 1250 at almost default voltage, pretty nice hey???

Problem is that I would like to run at 7,5x133Mhz FSB (or as high as the cpu will take me at that FSB). The 7,5 multiplier is recognised as 11,5 which
gives far to much Mhz for the system to boot. It also seems that people with cpu's below 1Ghz don't have this problem, which makes it even weirder.

Everybody has to wait until MSI releases a GOOD bios for this board so we can use that lovely 133Mhz FSB.......

Domin8r, I had heard that problem was solved by flashing your BIOS while your CPU was set to the lowest clock multiplier possible?

i.e. set your CPU to 6x100, reboot, and flash your BIOS.
