Do WaveMaster aluminum cases hum or rattle?

Just wondering: Do Cooler Master's WaveMaster cases, which are made of anodized aluminum, have any problems with hum or rattling? I've seen a couple comments about aluminum cases having these kinds of problems.

The WM seems like such a solid case that I'd be surprised if it did. I don't own one -- do any of you, and can you comment? (Figure one HD, a couple optical drives, a solid PSU, and nothing exotic or modded going on.)

Just curious.

Most rattling is caused by parts in the computer spinning. The most common culprits are the hard drive(s), optical drive(s) and some fans. Rubber is easily the best way to tackle vibration problems.

That's kinda what I thought too. What about hum? Anything about the aluminum structure of this case that would create, say, resonances or something that would cause hum or any unusual noise?

I'm guessing the negative comments I've read about aluminum cases were probably related to some of the thinner-gauge ones out there (I've seen a few that are so thin that you'd crush them if you set much weight on them).

As stated above, the only things that would cause humming (normally) are the hard drive(s), optical drives(s) and fans. Sometimes if your PSU is going bad it might make a humming and/or vibrating noise.

least likely. its one of the thickest aluminum cases out there. the cheaper u get, the thinner the panels for aluminum
