Wondering because I'm considering buying a used card from someone (msi ti4200 128mb). It's I believe 2-4 months old. Is it still warrantied?

thanks.

Yes it is still usually warrentied, but remember that you usually need a receipt of purchase (not from the person you bought it off) from the store it came from should you need to exchange it.

This can sometimes be hard to obtain if it has been thrown away or the person is reluctant to give it to you because it has credit card details on, etc.

I see...I should ask for the reciet. I did some reading and I discovered that the reseller have a 30 day warranty and MSI gives you a 2 year warranty. Is this correct?

With most video cards I have bought I have found that OEM ones generally have a 1yr warranty while retail have 2-3yrs. Elsa offered 6yr Warranties....don't think they are around anymore.....I think there are some that still offer 5yrs.
