Do vegans feed their dogs vegan dog food?

my wife has clients that have animals.

Vegetarian dog food does wierd things to the dogs. The females hike thier legs and stuff. Very odd.

Its not good for the dog, neither dogs or cats are plant eaters. There primary source of food is meat, occasionaly they eat grass and such but that is just to help cleanse there digestive system.

We did not feed it veggie food. We basically fed it what it needed (doggie food). We are vegetarians tho (no fish, meat, eggs, everything else ok)

not quite sure of the differences between vegans, vegatarians, and this third type of vegetarian (can't remember what it is called)

vegan: just plants, no dairy products also

vegatarian: plants, dairy products

other veggie: plants, dairy products, fish

that's what i think the definitions are, but i still get confuzzled
