sometimes its ok but other times I hate working as a slave for a vile corporate beast that sucks the very essence out of my internal organs for a mere pittance.

*Sends Arkitech a pittance*

I want some essence!

Oh, wait... 😱

Yep, I'm @ work. My job can be fun but it can also be very dull. It involves some field work so in the winter things can get kinda boring hanging out in the office.

I like it cause it's so easy but it's easy because the tasks are relatively menial, at least to me. That makes it boing.

It's alright.

Easy job, I get along with people I work with..but it's repititive and the pay sucks. The pay situation should be getting better shortly..most people in my position are leaving (moving, etc), so hopefully they can't afford for for me to quit as well 😛

Mostly management of 4 field engineers...

But day to day stuff includes..

Developing a new backbone for the company I work for using cisco 12000 routers, etc..

I hated my job, and I just bailed out of the telecom field and will start a new job next week. Money was good, but the job sucked ass. There was nothing to do, execpt nef here all day. 🙁

gscone ... hire me? i hate my job, doing stupid repeditive tasks for a major corporation while they hire me as a temp to be a floater and do work that nobody else wants to do b/c its repeditive and daunting 🙁

Yes, I do like my job:

reason: Everything I know was taught to me by my employer. I am only a student programmer, but he gives me a lot to work with, because i told him that i needed to learn some it stuff before i graduate. There was another job offer on campus for 5 bucks more an hour, but i decided not to go after it, because i like where i'm working currently.
