I work from home, and I love it, but I was out there in the jungle for about ten years so I know what hating a job feels like.

I have stuff to do. It's jsut that it's all very boring and involves technology I could care less for.

My job is to post on ATOT and drink beer. I love this job...doesn't pay well, but then again....its rewards far exceed anything money could ever buy.

Yes, good friendly flexible working hours atmosphere. And it's all in a field I enjoy.

sure. work is interesting, money & benefits are great - commute isn't, though.

OTOH, until you've worked a few jobs you hate
(and i have) you don't appreciate a good one.

Remember this poll will be skewed since AT is a younger crowd. You really need a group that has been in the working world for a couple of decades before you'll see widespread job dissatisfaction. Around here it's not really people hating their jobs, just whining about having a gaseous roommate or that damn tricky Intro To Algebra class.

love it

great pay, great work environment (pool table, fooseball table, ping pong table, head-to-head sega rally racing)
ripped my pants playing ping pong this morning, had to go home and change :(

I used to like my job, but now I don't.
My boss has begun to piss me off.
I enjoy software development, but far too much of my time is spent doing crap other than developing software. Like project management, business analysis, attending stupid meetings, and surfing ATOT while waiting for other people to do their part of a project. When I'm asked how long it would take to build some app, the answer is normally "a week to build it and 6 months to get it tested, documented, and get the managers to agree to approve it's use." Very frustrating.
