Do Trek helmets just not exist anymore in LBS'?

I've gone to three bike shops in the area (Silicon Valley) including one Performance Bike and none of them had Trek helmets, just Giro and Bell. This is unfortunate for me because Trek is the ONLY brand that makes a large that fits me. Giro is much too narrow and Bell is narrow as well, just to a lesser degree. Both hurt when I put them on.

I'm afraid to order online for Trek because I suspect that not all Larges are sized the same. I could very well order a Large Trek that doesn't fit, while another model could fit.

Just skin a fuzzy baby bunny and line the inside (and maybe the outside) of the helmet with it. It will still be tight, but at least you'll be able to snorggle with it.

Were you trying the helmets on with the proper padding? Perhaps they had the larger padding on the sides or they weren't fit right.

LBS? Large Bunny Size?

Shens. I've seen pics of youse...you're a tiny little fucker.

Are you shopping in the childrens' department?

Local Bike Shop.

And to FBB, if the Bell or Giro helmets are too tight did you try a size larger to see if those fit better?
