Do threads titled "cheapest but best xyz" tick you off/make you itch?

I'm not really ranting, but querying the general populace. I usually post over in GH, and frequently see posts titled;

"cheapest but best computer speakers" "cheapest but best CPU" "cheapest but best case" Frequently, the meat of post is; "I need a scanner for the house. It has to have 5000 x 5000 x 64bit resolution, a document feeder, taco dispenser...and I only have $54.03 to spend, can you make a suggestion?"

You get the idea. It's common knowledge that you get what you pay for. There's a reason why (for example) a Seagate Cheetah x18 (I think that the number) is very expensive; it's an awesome piece of machinery! You get what you pay for.

I'm not being mean OR targeting the newbie or uninformed. This would apply to anything; cars, jewelery, boats, etc. You can't expect to buy a 40-foot yacht with a wetbar for $100, right? Thanks for listening.

it does give me a little itch everyone once in a while, but sometimes it isnt their fault, they just havent been able to keep up blah blah. But it does give me a rather large itch when I see it in a WTB in the FS/FT forums, that is when I must look up from my moniter at my beautiful JLH poster and all is well again.

I think those guys are looking for the best one they can get for their money. Not the globally best one.

It's annoying sometimes, but not as much as the threads asking questions that have been answered 22 times in the last hour, and certainly not as funny as the lowballers in FS/FT.

It'd be easier if people took this approach:

1: find your _REQUIREMENTS_
2: find your budget
3: see if your requirements can be met by something within your budget
4: find your _WANTS_ (aka: nice extras)
5: find the model that has the most #4 w/o going over #2 or ignoring #1
