Do thoughts exude energies felt outside the confines of your brain?

Aka thought broadcasting. Maybe everything connected to everything and out minds aren't truly private and are interconnected between all of us. We started from nothing. Thoughts are just mere manifestations of what is external to us. I would concede that our minds are the closest thing we have to something truly private.

Thought is an electro-biological process and can be picked up with various instruments, interpreting it is the difficult part as thoughts are constantly being rebuilt inside the brain, not stored. Research on digitizing thought activity in mice are well underway in the last couple years.

So no, I no longer believe thoughts to be private, we are getting closer & closer to a Borg type society, with the addition that we may no longer need the biological part of our makeup should the thought digitizing research above keep going as well at it has.

You never know,120 some years ago no one knew the existence of radio waves. We all could be connected through a parallel universe or the force.~

Thoughts producing energies that can be felt outside the brain by others? I'm going to guess no, since there has never been a credible instance of it happening in the entire history of man. No mater how hard you think, nobody is going to say "ouch" or hear your thoughts, and no coat rack is going to wiggle without help from the receptionist.

Or are you asking if the brain can send a signal/energy to, say, your foot and tell your toes to wiggle? Yes, if that's your question.

I know science can scan and register brain activity, but not sure if that is what the OP is asking.

NO....

However, when humans communicate their inner thoughts color their choice of words, inflection, and body language.

Some people are very good at detecting these physical signals.

Some people are oblivious to seeing this communication.

Even the person who is good at detecting these signals may not know what they are doing leading themselves to believe they have some sort of ESP. Which in a way they do. No waves involved just good communication skills.

Put the bong down and step away from the keyboard (or at least slide it out of reach down to the other end of the couch...) 😀

Our nervous systems certainly generate electrical fields that can be detected and measured from outside our bodies, but as to actually detecting "thought" much less its specific content, well, people have been trying that for a very long time, and at least a few governments have spent (and for all I know may still be spending) a great deal of money and at least a decent amount of time trying even harder, but (apparently) without success. So I'd have to say: "no".

Not "currently", at any rate. To paraphrase Loxana (sp?) Troy of Star Trek: The Next Generation, maybe it's just that our brains (assuming as we are that "thought" does in fact occur (primarily) there) aren't developed enough for that yet... But if we're still around by the time, or after, this occurs, who knows?😉

Of course thoughts can be broadcast. Anyone who's made the effort to "talk" to a dog can attest to that.
Or maybe they're just "reaching into" our minds and perceiving what's there, without any "action" on our part and/or without it ever leaving the more or less immediate confines of our bodies?😱 / 😎

Might not be any waves might be something we don't know how to tap into yet, might be something we wont discover for another 100 or more years. Every civilization thinks they are at pinnacle of knowledge but history shows us otherwise. I think there are alternate dimensions/parallel universes/strings/nodes what ever call them we just cant fathom it yet. Maybe they will be inherent skills we'll learn or maybe technology will allow us access them someday. Either way we'll move forward I believe exponentially if we don't kill ourselves or our planet. Wish I could hang around and witness it.

Color doesn't mean anything to the blind. Music doesn't mean anything to the deaf. Like I said, too many live in a dark and dreary world.

If I look at my dog with a normal face, he is happy and runs up to me. If I scowl at him, he instantly feels bad and goes away. Does that ocunt?

Are you implying you believe yourself not to be "blind", to use your metaphor?😕 I have no trouble imagining such a thing (though much like someone born blind imagining what sight might be like, obviously I can't imagine what it might "in fact" be like...) But not only have II myself never experienced such a thing (which might not mean anything, as you note), I've also never seen, read about, or heard of, anything even vaguely reliable (excluding religious scripture and lore for the moment) that suggests that such a thing actually exists in humans or any creatures we interact with (or maybe I should say, "have reliable evidence that we're known to interact with", to allow of course for all those alien abductees that apparently communicate with their abductors via telepathy...😉)

That is called non-verbal communication. It's how psychics make it appear as if they read minds.
