Do those Combat roach traps really work?

I have big roaches in my house and I need to get rid of them. I found one in my tub today and my bathroom is really clean. Nothing on the ground, nothing laying around, I don't know what attracts them there. Perhaps it's the drainage system.

Do those raid things really work? Cuz I get sick to my stomach when I wake up and see those creatures in my bathtub.

Well you know, they may crawl into your mouth at night, maybe thats why you're feeling sick to your stomach in the morn! :Q 🙁
 
My parents made their own boric acid, put them on old lid containers through out the house, after a while.... they were all gone 😀
