Do they make keyboards with the key pad on the left hand side? If so can someone link me to a place to buy it? Or what about just the number pad itself (USB or something).

logitech dinovo, this is the only one that i can think off the top of my head. the numbpad is a seperate board so you can place it anywhere. the dinovo is a package so it comes with a mouse and keyboard. there are probably much cheaper brands that sell seperate numbpads though.

I paid $100 for my keyboard, and it was worth every cent of it. Though I still haven't used all 36 function keys.

Three most important parts of a computer are the monitor, keyboard and mouse. Why skimp on any of those.

And directron sells a left-handed keyboard for $60

I know there is one besides those listed above - I saw it recently. They claimed that it reduces strain on right handers as it keeps the mouse close to the typing keys so you don't have to reach so far for it. Could be a Zippy, A4Tech, Silitek/LiteOn, etc. I know I was looking for something else and stumbled upon it. Good luck.
Yup, it was the http://www.A4Tech.com KBS-25xx (cordless) and the KBS-29 (corded) I have a 'normal' A4Tech cordless and I like the key feel (I reviewed it on http://www.techimo.com/reviews/ ). And don't let the pyramid key pattern throw you, it's mostly an optical illusion - touch typists can't tell the diff.
. Note that the KBS-29 has the O-T-K (One True Keyboard) layout - just like the original IBM AT keyboard! The cordless ones don't.

ya, i was going to mention that one too...
i like it cause it doesn't have any funky places for your ordinary keys (like some logitechs and what not)
plus, the numpad is supposed to be really useful for games because it has some sort of "shift" button, that lets you program it and do functions in games. they supposedly have game profiles you can download from saitek...
