These are on my range bag. It goes from my bedroom floor to my trunk to the shooting range. That is all.

Do the patches invoke any negative feelings for you?

I'm confused by the smiley face with a bullet in his head. Why is he smiling? Does he know something I don't?

Also, Does it count if part of the toe comes off too?

I'm mostly upset at your inability to align them. :colbert:

I can see how some people would react a certain way to the "come and take it" patch.

It would be too much for me personally, one patch wouldn't get any negative attention IMHO. Two is ok. More is a bit overboard. But to each their own. I quickly forget about the stupid patches if I notice you shooting a one hole group with your p229. ;)

I don't care for the "come and take it" stuff. It conveys hostility and continues the stereotype that all shooters WANT a violent showdown over their weapons.

As a shooter myself I don't like getting lumped in with that mindset. I'm not prepping for anything, I don't care for the NRA politics, and I don't have to have my gun on me 24/7 to feel safe, among other things. That's fine if you feel that way I just don't think like that, and definitely don't like it when people assume I do just because I own a bunch of guns.

The arrangement is giving me a migraine. The flag is set up a seam and the others not centered or otherwise placed in a pleasing fashion.

I did a shit ton of research on trigger control and that is for sure my issue with the P229. I am going to get dead nuts accurate with it because I know it can be. My Glocks I am fine with 6" groups at 7 yards. The Sig deserves better.

And if you notice, the seam next to the flag melted off :D I had to alter my plan to align them with the seams after that.

I very much respect that. None of my coworkers, friends or family know I carry. No one knows how many guns or how much ammo I have stashed. The range bag only goes one place; the gun range.

I like the history of "come and take it" more than anything. I do not like the NRA and am not exactly planning for a violent showdown. I may be ready for it but don't want one.

Why do you even have patches on your range bag?

Seems little childish to me, but I'm an old fart. :)

I bought a hat from Amazon with a flag on it. Amazon suggested the flag patch. Then there was the smiley face and I had to have that. And it all went downhill from there...

OK, so Amazon's target (no pun intended) marketing works on some people. :hmm:

I would buy a shit ton more if they didn't keep recommending me stuff I already bought.

"Here are 30 products you already bought as suggestions"

But..I already bought one from you

"BUY MORE!"

Meh, they look ok to me. I can see myself having the flag patch and the Molon Labe patch on my range bag, but not the smiley. But it looks fine anyway.

Speaking of the stick figure family stickers, I saw one a couple weeks or so ago in A2 that had like larger firearms (maybe an AR and an AK, don't remember) and then a few smaller ones (pistols), lol. Gun family > stick figure family

This. Also, what the hell is with the smiley face with a bullet hole? Who shoots someone just because they're happy? That' just tacky.

Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, those patches make no sense. The American flag and "come and take it" suggest a patriotism bordering on insane jingoism, and the "come and take it" combined with the smiley face suggest someone who is actively hoping they get to shoot somebody. But then, out of left field, you have the ironic zombie patch, as if to say "no, I'm only xenophobic against the undead." I don't get the connection. Anyway, I would certainly never put any of those on anything I owned, but I'm not really a patch/sticker kind of guy.
