Do the mods have a lock quota?

Why are some people so anxious to ban other people? This place is getting lame. It's almost as if you can't talk about anything any more unless it's pre-approved by a mod, and that doesn't rule out getting a vacation or ban by some other mod. Seems vacations are handed out now for just about any reason, and if they aren't, there's at least half a dozen people calling for a ban or whining about it here in forum issues.

Its the lack of sunshine. See, most of the folks that frequent AT haven't seen more than 1/2 hour of sunshine in any given day since Clinton was in office. Of the ones that have, 75% only saw the sun because they had to go to an outdoor meeting of the local militia. Seems that is the only way they can figure to get Bush out of office. Half of the others did so only because they went out to meet a girl they met online. Turns out Sheila was really Bob. You would be cranky too. The others that are left just have no lives period.

On to the Mods. As much as I would love to flame them, I can sympathize. Imagine having to deal with hundreds, if not thousands of idiots on a daily basis. From what I can gather their only instructions are to "do what they think is right." I have motioned for a real set of rules for AT, but now I realize that is not possible. We have many respected members here that contribute more than anyone could repay them for, and sometimes they like to nef. We also have members who feel their only purpose is to nef (re: me).

The mods will continue doing what they see fit. We will continue to test the waters and see what we can get away with. Sometimes you may get away with a worthless thread, a nef or 5, maybe even a babe thread. But in the end the Mods will always win.
