foot fetish is so weird to me. and im not creeped out by most fetishes. id rather lick ass then toes.
I remember watching an episode of Taboo where there was this guy who had a thing for other men's feet. One of his favorite things to do was to microwave men's used socks and then sniff them. Heating them up enhanced the aroma.

Feet are wired to the brain in certain ways just like boobs. That connection is stronger some than others.

The area of the brain taht recognizes feet (look, and smell) is actually in the region right by the pleasure centers that cause people to get eroused.
Since the brain is never wired 100% the way it should, as inter-twining happens when it is being developed, it is very easy to have those 2 regions get some kind of cross wiring going on.
(This is not specific to just those regions of the brain, other near regions can inter-wire as well)

Agreed. I don't have a particular fetish per se, but I have sort of the reverse. Dirty feet, feet with obvious problems = instant major turn off. It sort of reminds me of some Eddie Murphy movie, I could be dating a woman with otherwise amazing features, but if she had hideous feet, I'd be running like a scalded cat. Also, not judging anyone, but imho the best 'smell' is no smell at all. Clean feet along with clean everything else is win.

Oh, and imho, most 'celebrities' have rough feet as well. Any job where you have to ram your feet into harsh shoes/heels for hours/days/months/years is going to take a toll. Given that most female celebs probably wear those kinds of shoes often/most of the time, no bueno. Case in point, Uma Thurman in Kill Bill. Ugh. I guess Quentin has earned the right to do whatever he pleases, but just ugh. At least his obligatory scene in From Dusk Til Dawn with Salma Hayek wasn't so terrible.

I would hazard a guess that it's very similar or tied to the 'hips' attraction. I watched some documentary about the 'science of attraction' or something of that nature on netflex, and it seemed to confirm that men check out hips+badonkadonk in quick scan, and it's some rudimentary eyeball estimation of fertitlity/sexual maturity.

Yup, in fact, it's known that when you have a limb or body part amputated, that sensory representation in the brain doesn't go to waste. It gets rewired to process sensations from the adjacent area. So people who had their penis amputated would actually still feel like their penis is still there and can stimulate it through their feet!
So people with foot fetishes are theorized to have a bit of extra cross wiring between the sensory representations in the feet and genitals.
An offshoot of the foot fetish, is the crush fetish. Women's feet stepping on things, which can include small animals.
