Do tech forums have better grammar than other forums?

Believe it or not, AT is more adult than many tech forums. Some are populated by enthusiast "kids", and they either don't care, or never learned proper English. They can provide useful information, but sometimes it's painful to read. I think we have a good group here, and even the young guys at least try to put in some effort at clear communication :^)

I think you nailed it. There are some good discussions here, and a lot of knowledgable people in a lot of different areas of expertise. I don't get to talk to that many technically-oriented people in the course of my day, so having a 24/7 place to come hang out is pretty nice. Scratches the nerd itch :thumbsup:

On a related note, I can't stand playing Xbox online - my buddy has an account and every time we get on to play, it just seems like it's filled with 11-year-old kids hopped on sugar with the worst language I've heard outside of the military or a high school locker room. Oh Counterstrike, how I miss you...
