Yes. I personally go out and stick them in their G-string.

I'd imagine that a stripper is more than likely an independent contracter in most arrangements...that'd mean that they get a 1099 instead of a W2.

As the answers on the link stated, it depends. Some are employees, others are contractors. The club my wife was at, she was W2. Anything up to the first $140 she made would be claimed as income, she'd give the $140 to the club and the club would pay it back minus taxes, etc. Anything beyond that $140 was considered a tip.
