Isn't the death penalty the easy way out anyway?
I mean, if someone has made you suffer, would you rather they died, or they spent the rest of their life suffering in prison?

If the death penalty were the easy way out then why do most death row inmates spend years or even decades fighting their sentences? If life in prison were truly that horrible then most death row inmates would eventually voluntarily drop their appeals and die. A life sentence sucks, there's no doubt about that, but even life in prison is (generally) better than being dead.

People who are cruel to innocent animals
Anyone who hurts or takes advantage of the elderly

And elderly that take advantage of children.

(Cliffs. Old lady took $25 out of my baby brother's hands and attempted to walk away with it)

Anyone that doesn't contribute a net good to society should be removed from society. However, I have no idea how you measure good/evil actions, and I don't think the OP does either. In lieu of that, I would say no. Until a perfect good/evil measuring system is developed, there is no way to determine who deserves to die.

Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them?

I'm pretty sure that if you commit capital murder then you have not contributed a net good to society.

What if you save a life, How about 10? What if you invent the cure for cancer? What if you kill someone that is going to murder 10 or 20? What if the future children of that person are going to all be killers?

Murder is a terrible crime to society, but who's to say that it always causes a net lose? Can you predict the future?

It sure seems it would be better. I'd never condone one's death when one's seizure in a prison for the rest of his life would work, though.
