Meh. It's just a phone.
It runs Android. Nothing special about it besides carrying a new version exclusively for maybe a month or so.

The Nexus One is no more a "Google Phone" than the Moto Droid before it. At least, besides the fact that the Nexus One is the first phone of a new platform support scheme. Motorola and HTC, and probably other manufacturers, will be making a phone that goes under the same platform, and google.com/phone will be a common sales and support portal for what will likely be all the new "Google Experience" phones. This is like Google's official Out of Beta Party. 😛
