Do some alcohols mess you up

my body is almost immune to Jack Daniel's and Vokda. I would need to consume about 5-6 drinks to really get a nice buzz going...

Tequila on the other hand messes me up quick. It has to be the quality Tequila not some crap like Jose Cuervo or anything.....

When I say nothing, I mean, no good feeling, no buzz, just sick. It does effect me, because I end up just throwing it up.

Rum, on the other hand, will give me a buzz. I will feel good. Very good. Very happy.

If I were to take 4 shots of vodka right now, 40 proof, I would feel nothing for about 30 minutes, and then I would throw up.
If I were to take 4 shots of Rum right now, 40 proof, I would have a good buzz going for a little bit, be in a great mood, and then, probably throw up.

Maybe you should try smoking something instead of booze.

Maybe you like one more and drink it faster? One has a higher proof? One has more salt/sugar and the other uses more water. One is better with food so you snack when you drink it/

I'm sorry, but I can't believe you. What you say flys in the face of everything that I've seen, read and understood up until this point; and the physiological effects of drugs are something I know a lot about.

Alcohol is alcohol is alcohol.


Have you tried having someone give you random alcohol without you knowing what it is. If you really don't get a buzz from some alcohol it has to be in your head.

My sister brought some tequila home from a trip to Mexico. Agave or something like that. Holy cow. One shot and I'm flying. I have not gone past 2 shots out of prudence!

Blackhaus turns me into the Incredible Hulk. Start breaking stuff left and right. Luckily I haven't drank the stuff in 2 years.

Tequilla always winds up having me wake up with either clothes on in the incorrect order, or no clothes on at all.

I normally stick to beer.
