Do snow removal people work past 5?

So we got about a foot of snow here and there's no way I can get out of my driveway without it being cleared. My rental company is supposed to take care of snow removal but I was wondering if the company will work past 5 or will I have to wait until tomorrow?

I thought most snow removal companies were on call, with people working in shifts 24 hrs. When my parents used a service, the plow would usually come at around 5:30 a.m.

My friend's dad owns a plow business and they usually plow all night. I think the last bad snow storm we had here in NY he worked for like 12 hours. Sometimes they have to stop because the trucks break down though...
