Do recharable batteries work in the Automatic Shower Cleaner?

i used up the 4 AA batteries that came with it.

i only have recharable batteries. and none work in this device. (the batteries work in my flashlight.)

if you have this Automatic Shower Cleaner, have u tried recharable batteries?

If that's the thing that sprays stuff out in the shower in a circle every so often... They reviews it on the news here and it bombed pretty badly. I'd just take it back.

I don't see how they wouldn't... perhaps you put them in wrong?

May have a volt checker and will ony work if the batteries are within so many? Since a rechargable battery doesnt put out quite 1.5 maybey that device is super picky and the batteries you thew out were not dead completly just enough to where it wouldnt opperate?
Or maybe the thing broke, have you tried any regular batteries yet to see?
