Do Playstation network games go on sale?

I haven't really looked at console sales until recently. I was lucky enough to get in on the free flOw, which got me wondering. Is that a rare occurrence? While there are a few PSN games I'd like to pick up, I find it hard to justify the price ($10 for flower up to $20 for trine) especially when there are older games I can get for just as much that likely have much more content.
The closest I can guess is watch for a psn card to go on sale for less than list price, but for some reason I doubt that's common.
Whoops, wrong forum, meant to post in Console.

Trine $10? If it was $5 I would bite, but not $10 still (and only on PS3). I hated the Wizard part and was lost on PS3...did it on PC but...

They have sales randomly...spring, summer, fall usually too...also gave a free game away once (Rag Doll Kung Fu).

How do you guys become aware of these sales? I was lucky enough to catch flow in free stuff, but I had no idea flower was on sale...and I had looked at it a day or two ago.

Keep an eye on the Playstation Blog. They release what the PSN update for the week is every Thursday afternoon. Sales will be released there. Stuff like flower and flow seem to happen out of the blue so you might want to consider setting up deal alerts at sites like fatwallet or slickdeals.

Thanks. I'll have to bookmark that along with hot deals here and slickdeals.

They've been having sales about every other week recently. I imagine they'll eventually make it a regular thing a la XBL DotW.
