It depends on the pepper in my experience. Most of the time, japs give off a mild warmth. However, there have been some instances where merely cleaning the peppers out caused my eyes to water and threw me into a coughing fit.
Yeah, that doesn't mean what you think it does.
But yes, it really depends on the pepper and how tolerant the person eating it is.
I dunno...MAYBE it meant exactly what he meant...I know, for myself, I like a nice warm Jap...:whiste:

They're highly variable. Some aren't hot at all, and others are pretty spicy. Not to the extent in the video, but they can be hot; especially to a midwesterner's palate. They consider salt, pepper, and onion highly spiced :^D
