do people outside of the NJ area know what taylor ham is?

I was reading about it on wiki tonight, and apparantly it's only sold in the NJ area? boggles my mind how anyone could live without a taylor ham, egg, and cheese sandwich at least once or twice a year (about the time it takes your arteries to recover).

I call it pork roll. I don't eat it, but my roommate in college loved it when I brought some with me.

There's a place around here called Father and Son's - and they make the most awesome taylor ham and egg sandwich. Holy crap.

I could really go for a taylor ham & cheese on a roll now.

mh47g, how can you live in PA now, and be from NJ, and be 😕? You are really are missing a small piece of heaven. Those who live in NJ and don't know need to visit a diner.

They sell taylor ham in NC, but they call it pork roll. I usually pick up a roll at Walmart when I'm there.
