So I have some cinnamon sticks left over and have the little icing cup.

The little peel back top of the icing cup, says DO NOT MICROWAVE.
I figure, hell... this stuff melts down pretty quick. What's going to happen in 10 seconds?

POOF! FIRE FIRE! oops

it extinguishes with a quick puff, but still. I had to laugh. And now it smells like burned out birthday cake candles in the whole place.
but the smell of cake is a lie. :(

But what if it doesn't smell good? Burned out candles isn't an enticing smell. Just the cake part is.

Oh well. At least I have melted icing for the remaining cinnamon sticks. Well... did. They're gone now. Tasty.

It's really fun when you accidentally didn't see that small piece of metal flap still attached to something and the sparks start going.

My buddy did this yesterday. Except he put it in for 5 seconds, not 10. He said he should've done 1 or 3. That was probably pretty cool, though, seeing burning icing.

Oh fun another microwave serries on youtube.

I've been following "is it a good idea to microwave this?" series on youtube. Funny stuff. The ipod and spray paint are probably the best ones.

rehydrate dried squid in your wave box for a real olfactory experience.

1. best one I ever did was buy an Arby's roast beast sandwich, and when I got back home, tossed the bag in the microwave.....forgetting that Arby's uses foil-lined paper to wrap their sandwiches! Nice light show for a few seconds there!

2. most recent one was when I went to re-warm coffee in a coffee cup my sis gave me a number of years ago. Evidently the "do not microwave" label was washed off long ago. Another good light show (and a small burn mark on the inside of the oven).

3. best one I ever saw someone else do was a young Seabee (construction battalion, CB) E4 that I worked with, years ago. He had a cheap (<$10) digital watch that got wet and stopped working. Someone told him to open it up and let it air out a few days, and it'd probably start working again (good advice). Genius boy decides he doesn't want to be without his watch for a few days, and knows that if he can evaporate the water faster.......hey, the microwave could do that!! He managed to fry the watch AND the microwave, and blew a 1/4" hole in the inside of the microwave! When asked why he thought it would work, he stated that since the watch was made of plastic, he thought it'd be okay........

He was quickly educated about the printed circuits inside electronics. ;)

I just wasted 45 minutes of my life watching that show LoL.

Thanks!
