Do NOT give these names to your child(ren)

Of those, Wyn doesn't seem *that* obnoxious or retarded. But in general I think that so many parents are trying far too hard to be unique (which is a name of a kid that was in my son's post-delivery nursery BTW) and trendy.

There's only so many variations you can do of the strong "A"-den name. Aiden, Chapin, Jaiden, Kaiden, Raiden, Shaiden and so on...

god damn you Anglejesus!!

I hear that was Euclid's nickname back in the day.

edit: also, all twenty of those names are fucking terrible.

My favorite bad names are the ones that just sound like the parents had a brainfart. Like 'oh yeah, that's totally a legit name...wait...wait...no, that's not the word you were looking for.' You know, like the corruptions of common names with 3+ syllables. Like naming your kid 'Jimothy.'

Amberly. Tederick.

That shit. I call them 'surely I will do meth when I grow up' names.

People should keep in mind that this kids name is going to be on the top of a fucking resume. They need to pick a name that will not hinder them as they work through the system.

Most are going to wind up on the "pay to" line of a welfare check and for that the dumber the better.

In all seriousness. I think child naming has taken on a new level of narcissism in this country. Lots of people have to name their kids in a unique way.

I had to shut down a friend this week because he was going to name his kid a normal name. But spell it all weird. I told him to spell the name properly because the kid is going to have a hard enough time. He doesnt need to have other kids make fun of him because he cant spell his own name.
