I used to hang out with some guys that ate that junk. You think coke is bad, try talking to a friend that is hooked on silica gel. Now that, my friends, is what I call an addiction!

I really hate to spoil the party - but Silica Gel (SiO2) is "non-toxic". Did anyone bother to do an Internet Search?,

Here is one site devoted to it.

EDIT: Want more useless info? Did you know a single teaspoon of Hydrosorbant Silica Gel has an internal adsorptive area equivalent to a football field including the endzones. Check it out here

NOX TOXIC, perhaps - "how dry I am" is more likely the result of eating it.

2nd EDIT: Why not to eat it . . . here.
