...the Silica Gel.

It says so right on the pouch.

But the hard drive that was packed with it doesn't say to not eat. CAN I EAT THE HARD DRIVE?!?!

The pregnency test that was packed with it doesn't say to not eat. CAN I EAT MY WIFE'S PREGNENCY TEST?!?!

The beef jerky that was packed with it doens't say to not eat... Oh wait. Never mind.

Is silica gel really harmful? If I were to tell some younger kids that silica gel says not to eat because it tastes too good and got them to eat some, would they die, or just have to be hospitalized? If you don't answer, I'll assume the latter.

It's real satisfying too.

Sort of makes my skin dry, but it sure does leave me filled up!

It keeps the moisture out of the package.

I poured some in a cup of water. IT'S COOL! It's like POP ROCKS!

Mental note to self: Do not use Pretender's Preschool Playhouse for my kids... :p

If you do decide to eat it Johnny, be really brave, and tear off one of those mattress labels! If your gonna be a rebel, go all the way. ;)

I'm guessing since it absorbes moisture, it would probably do the same internally, drying up all the water in your body (although it probably couldn't absorb all, it could probably absorb quite a bit). I wonder how harmful it'd be. I wonder how painful it'd be coming out, considering that there'd be no water to aid it's uh, journey.

I really want to know why they even have to bother putting "Do not eat" on the pacakages anyway. What moron opens a computer box and thinks, "Well! I got me a harddrive and a pack of chicklets! Score!" Anyone (and everyone) that thinks that deserves the discomfort and/or death that results.

You'll have to excuse my bias against stupid people. ;)

If I never saw "do not eat", I'd eventually have tried one. Not right away, but out of curiousity. The hard drive stores stuff. The manual tells you how to use it. But what's this package....hmm....
