DO NOT BUY ACOMDATA PRODUCTS!!!

This company is a joke. They offer rebates and never make good on them. They do not respond to communication and don't seem to respond to BBB complaints. They make, among other things, the 6-in-1 flash reader/writer, one of the first good units back in 2001. Those units were on sale at CompUSA and MicroCenter (still are at MC). This is the unit I got, and got burned on a rebate from CompUSA, despite many tries to contact them. I tried one last time last week, and I received an insulting e-mail back chastising me for being "too late" to receive the rebate.

This is just a notice TO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS UNTIL THEY IMPROVE REBATE SUPPORT AND IMPROVE THEIR BBB RATING.

The thing is, I "notified" them about 2 other times, when it was not "too late", and I told them about previous attempts every time I tried contact. They just ignored my previous messages, and now they are telling me I'm doing this too late!!! Lame.
