Do NOT buy a 16gb iPhone 6S

16GB has never been a problem for me, especially with having no real media needs on my phone. Besides apps installations, I don't really use my phone storage. I can easily enjoy 16GB from my phone. I use Spotify for music (and Apple Music, sometimes) and no pictures I take are really that important I need to store on my phone forever.

I actually prefer having fewer apps installed since I only tend to use a limited number. The problem for me isn't just the storage, it's "update fatigue". I hate the constant app updates.

For example, on my 32 GB 5s, even with limited apps installed, I had 33 updates in a couple week period around the release of iOS 9.

Are you getting two? Cuz I personally wouldn't bother with a 16 GB if I wanted a 64 GB. That's 1/4 of the storage.

Tell me about it. Right now I am rocking 128GB in my Zenfone 2. It's going to be hard as hell to go back to 16GB. It's really nice not having to worry about space.

But I'll take what I can get.

I've had a 16GB 5S for two years now, and never ran into a low space error until recently. I have almost nothing in the way of media on this phone, but iOS 9 apparently takes up even more room than the last version of iOS 8.

None of my apps are that large except for Microsoft Office. These apps are huge, and if I didn't need them for emergency edits on the files I carry around with me I'd uninstall them.

My new 6S will be 64GB. I hate to pay Apple $100 extra for the same amount of storage I can get on a $20 flash drive, but that's my fault for buying Apple in the first place.

Samsung still charges a lot for extra storage too.

Why don't you just enable automatic updates? :O

I don't like having the updates running in the background, and more importantly, there are certain apps I don't want updated. For example, the latest eBay update is very annoying so I continue to use an older version.

shouldn't you just wait a few weeks to get the 64 GB model that you really want instead of one with gimped storage?

My friend is actively seeking out a 16GB iPhone 6 now. I warned him. He doesn't care because his current iPhone 5 is only 16GB.

Ended up with a 16GB and kinda pissed that I wasn't informed correctly about the iPhone leasing program.

Turns out you need to either activate a new line or have a current subscription for a carrier. Since my employer pays my bill, I couldn't take advantage.

Ended up with quite the hefty bill after Applecare+ and the 16GB S+. :'(

I only bought the 128GB this time b/c I'm afraid I'll fill it with 4k video at events for my kids. My last phone was 64GB and never got more than half full, so I'm probably being silly.
