Do mosquitos get drunk

Ah, LOB, you have asked a wise question. I will have to ponder this and get back to you.

(In another words, I have no clue, and just want to sound smart. 😛)

In order for a mosquito to be legally drunk, it must have a blood alcohol level in excess of .1% and actually be caught in flight. This is uncommon but not unheard of because in order to raise it's blood alcohol to that limit, owing to dilution of the donner's blood with the insect's body fluids, the moles of alcohol in the blood food must exceed .2% as a function of 50/50 body mass to blood suck ratio.

oh yeah hehe......I saw pics where they'd given spiders different druge and their webs became totally weird 😀
