Last I checked, left = communism and right = fascism, and they both equally suck. Conservatism and Liberalism should be well in the middle, regardless of how extreme.

I think John is walking a slippery slope and I really hope he doesn't throw the red card out blatantly. Question is, do people still believe this hocus pocus or will people see right through it for what it is?

Obama is a neo Marxist (more cultural that classical eco Marxism). Alinsky (BO trained in his techniques) admired Gramsci (theorist of cultural hegemony and counter-hegemony etc). His tactics are right out of Alinsky and are easy to spot once you know them (and most here do not take the time to learn even basics of BO). Lots of people feel there is something odd about BO and thats why he isn't doing as well as he should with the gazillion dollars hes had. McCain's problem he is supported the bailout and lost a chance to stand apart from BO. People do not rwally understand Marxism ow how it morphed into things like liberation theology. They hear little blurbs about a black list from the 50's and see little clips of the "have you no decency sir" bit and think Marxism in US was all a hallucination. Idiots.

There is nothing more frustrating to a bigot than that others don't share his delusions. A bigot can only feel safe when everybody is as bigoted as him but even then there will be a contest as to who is the most properly bigoted. But the extreme bigot experiences a world in constant degeneration because the disease that he has in extreme form can't be rationally maintained. Bigotry is constantly leaking away. Old forms of stupidity become dated and give way to the new. When the light in the kitchen flip, the cockroaches scurry away.
