do ivy bridge-e CPUs idle the same temps as 2500Ks?

i know that they have higher tdp, but i dont know about the temps. i suspect they run the same at idle as sb cpus did since they both use solder.

but im not really sure so i started this thread.

Gotta remember that there's a whole lot different going on in an IB-E than there is in a SB consumer chip. More cache, QPI, different litho, etc.

This.

I know SB-E idles higher than SB, and loads are higher as well. It's really not useful to compare the two that much, because they are very different animals.

It also has more then double the transistor count.
If I had a use for a hex it sure would be a sweet chip to have.
All 3 models are unlocked.
