I've posted stuff about this a couple of times before, but now I have all the bits I plan to use.

I'd be grateful if the electrically mided among you who knows about wiring batteries in serial and parallel could go to this page, where there are pix and an explanation.

And why do I need a power pack for a Firewire HDD when Firewire supplies power? Because I have VAIO's with their darned i.Link... Doh!
