Do I need to reseat my q9300?

Just bought a q9300 a the last upgrade for my lga 775 system however after monitoring it I find my temps are quite strange. At load using prime 95 they are 59 51 58 58 and at idle they are 48 37 58 58. I haven't overclocked or anything at the moment.

Thanks seems the sensors on two of these cores only respond high loads. Eventually using OCCT and overclocking to 3.4 Ghz they'll climb to 65+, but otherwise are 58 at load. Doesn't seem to be worth the hassle of RMAing though since they should be able to shut down my CPU if worse comes to worse.

Intel doesn't accept cpus with defective thermal sensors. With the exception of 2 dual core cpus, I have yet to buy an intel core series or newer that had perfect sensors.

I must have been lucky then since all of my core series have had fully functional sensors. e6300, e4500, q6600, and e7300. Probably why I was a bit alarmed at the strange idle temps. Not sure if it's all q9300s, but it's probably the easiest OC I've ever got 3.4 Ghz at stock and only up to 77 on one of the cores passive after an hour or more of prime.

I'm hoping that core is oversensitive since the others are reading 71.
