Do I need to install VIA RAID drivers after F6?

rrgh this is confusing as hell. I know I have to get my VIA raid drivers for my A8V when I do the OS installation but do I need to still run the VIA Southbridge install utility after I have Windows XP is install or do I just leave it alone.

Its a seperate driver from the hyperion chipset driver from Via Arena. Do I need to run it afterwards or is that it after the F6 scenario?

Via RAID drivers

you should still run the utility after windows is installed, as (i believe) this is not the only thing that utility installs. Worst case scenario (it blows up  lol! kidding kidding) it will reinstall the same drivers. Most likely though, it will detect that they are already installed and ask if you wanna do it anyway, in which case you can just cancel. Let us know how it goes!

VIA Hyperion 4in1 453v from ViaArena are more current chipset drivers than what comes on the CD. Install them. Read the instructions, though. Do not install the AGP component, as this is now natively supported by Windows.

Simply run the install once you have XP loaded.
