Do i need to install/configure Raid IDE slots for non RAID HD's?

I want to put my HD's on separate RAID ide without using RAID. Is there anything i have to install first, because my bios doesn't show the raid ide's, only ide 1 and 2.

Just plug it in, and make sure any jumpers on your motherboard that relate to your RAID controllers are enabled. To actually run RAID, you have to set it up (ie specify stripe/mirror, etc) through the RAID controller. I ran a HD on a RAID controller on my Iwill KA266-R, and it was fine. As long as the drivers are installed in windows, and as long as the controller itself isn't disabled, you shouldn't have any problems.
