I am buying some new stuff for my computer, wondering if I need to buy a new power supply.
I don't know what my current powersupply is and don't know how to find out besides opening my tower up.

These are the things I am updating to, would I need something like 500W ?

Question cannot be answered without knowing the video card (if not using the motherboard's integrated video) and make/model of the power supply. Yes, you would have to open the case to find out what the power supply is.

a decent 350-400 watt should be more then enough for that system (unless you have a lot of hard drives or fans). What psu do you have now (how many watts, what brand, what amperage on each of the rails)?
