Do I need to flash my MSI RX9800 Pro?

I have Catalyst 4.11 and Windows and Everest are reading my card as a 9800 XT, R360, (378/338).

Do I need to flash it to the Medion XT BIOS? Or just go on my merry way overclocking?

Should I just flash it anyways so it will run at XT speeds at default without flashing?

What is the XT speed anyways? Should I just use ATI Tool to do the overclocking?

no, dont flash.

you wont unlock any features present on other 9800pro cards flashed to xt. Just overclock it.

stock speeds for teh xt is 412/730. Yes use ati tool

hmm.. I'm having problems with ATI Tool. It pretty much crashes my computer (and sometimes shuts off monitor) whenver that furry cube is on the screen. It can be "Show 3D Mode", "Core Test", "Scan for Artifacts", or if it opens the program with 3D mode on, it'll freeze my system.

what could be going on here? I'm using Catalyst 4.11 (with the CCC), and I just installed my VGA Silencer Rev3.

Which I'm positivie is working cuz my system temp are much lower. (no temp sensors on the RX9800)
