Do i need to flash my bios?

I have a KT7 mb and a T-Bird 900@1gig, running solid as a rock, but thats it wont go any higher,ont even 1 mz FSB higher witch is strange to me beause its so stable at 1 gig. Will a bios flash help me?

I've got a similar thing here - my Duron 700 will do 910, but if I try to nudge it any higher at all, it just starts freaking out - BIOS errors, Windows errors, etc. Maybe that's just all it can do, without some REAL GOOD COOLING - peltier, liquid nitrogen, etc.
A 1GHz T-bird is a lot better than my 910 Duron though.
