Do I need to ease my speakers back into regular use?

I left my Klipsch ProMedia 5.1 set at home this semester, and so when I come back to use them over break it will have been almost four months since they were last used. Is there any chance this period of non-use will make them sensitive to anything? Like should I ease back into regular use with them (frequency of use and volume-wise)? Or anything else I should do?

Thanks.

I'd think they'd be perfectly fine for regular use unless they were subjected to extreme temperatures or something. Either they'll work or they won't, regardless of break-in.

Should have brought them ;)

I don't think you're going to have any issues having to break them in again.

I hope to next semester. Just had to scope out the scene, see what it would be like this semester first.

Alright thanks.

Any reason to think they'd have any problems at all due to that period of non-use?

Not really... why would they? The only thing I can see is something actually affecting it (oh don't you love rats?).

Well he mentioned "either they'll work or they won't," just got me wondering if there was a reason to think the latter.

I think he's saying that they'll work once you plug it in, or if it's broken, it'll be broken. No breaking in or any interim things.
