Well, I just started my build today, but I am actually missing 1 standoff. Is this going to affect the motherboard?

teh only time i have seen this be a problem is when the missing standoff is under something that gets pushed on real hard... like ram. if the mobo can flex and touch the tray when sticking in your memory or cpu then it's no good, otherwise no worries.
 
Doesn't the motherboard need all the standoffs to ground electrical currents? Or do they serve another purpose?
