Do I need half life to run this game??

I always wanted to buy counter strike but I dont like steam...rather buy it by CD.


IS this CSS or just the first CS? Is it multiplayer because it says it comes with single player missions..

It sounds like it's just the original CS along with Condition Zero, which is a bunch of single player missions (with bots). The Deleted Scenes are the original levels made for CZ which are scripted single player missions. They sucked so CZ was remade to be missions with bots where you complete objects like "Win the match in 45 seconds" or "Kill two enemies with a shotgun."

Newegg.com contradicts him. Every store that sells HL Anthology contradicts him. If you actually took a second to read the product page, you would see it does not include Counter-Strike. The people of this forum don't have to reply to every simple question that is asked on this forum, especially one where the answer is right infront of your face. You stated yourself that you don't want Half Life, so why on earth would you order Half Life and not Counter Strike, especially when CS was cheaper?

HALF LIFE ANTHOLOGY DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO DOWNLOAD CS!!

The only way to download CS currently is to buy CS CZ.

People who bought the first version of CS which came with all the Seria downloads are still able to delete and dl CS for free..but not knew buyers.

I spoke with Valve's tech group and there forums..
