Any benefit from install:Ding the Athlon 64 processor drivers?

I had not built a machine in almost 4yrs, so I was out of the loop and mildy intimidated. But after reading the guides and following the forums for a couple of weeks, I took the plunge
and started an Epox 9npa+ Ultra based computer. I have never had a smoother, more pleasent build. Great MB. I appreciate all the helpful shared knowledge.

Epox 9NPA+ Ultra
Athlon 64+ 3500
Corsair VS 2x512 DDR,CL2.5
WD 250GB SATAII, 16 MB cache
PowerColor Radeon X800 GT 256
Antec Sonata II, 450W smart power 2.0

nice board, the only thing i think the 64 drivers are for is if you are running a 64bit os.... but other than that they are not necessary as far as i am aware.

Yes you should. They let the operating system control the processor speed based on computational demand - power-saving when idle, full speed when there's demand for processing power. "Cool&Quiet" by AMD's marketing terms.
